A prop betting is a wager that may not have anything to do with the outcome of the match. For instance, the Man Of The Match prop bet is a favorite option at the sportsbooks. In this type of betting, you can wager on which player will earn the Man Of The Match award. That player doesn’t have to come from the winning team.
Totals
Totals betting for football matches is the type of betting in which the sportsbook will set a total number of goals being scored, and you bet on the over/under. For instance, if a total is set for 2.5 goals, you will wager on whether the actual number of goals will come in either over/under the total that is set by the sportsbook.
Asian Handicap
The Asian handicap betting is similar to what North American bettors call “betting on the spread”. The team having been deemed “better” by the sportsbook is the one favored. However, they have to win by a certain amount of goals in the game. For instance, Team X has a handicap of 1.5 goals. This means that team X needs to win by above 1.5 goals to fulfill their end of the bargain.
